How it works.
When wine is poured in the Aerator, it's internal design creates an increase in the wine's velocity and a decrease in its pressure. This pressure difference creates a vacuum that draws in air which is mixed with wine for perfect aeration. In my limited testing I can say that it seems to have the same great effect - wine is improved. That's why we buy these things - right? I did notice that it is slightly quieter and marginally slower pouring than the big classic.
