These Shocks are a True Bypass Shock, they have Bypass tubes that work just like a standard Bypass Shock and the Reservoir is a Piggyback and the Nitrogen in the Reservoir is what acts as your Spring Rate just like a Standard Air (Nitrogen) Shocks.
